Dandelion Field

Become nature, plant dandelions and watch them grow and spread across your field. Rain to help sprouts become flowers, and gust wind to help spread seeds. Sit back, relax and enjoy the dandelions in this cozy spring jam entrant.

Note: the mobile version uses the built-in Pico-8 console UI. So the game references both X/O (console UI) and X/C on the keyboard. 

Controls:

1. In "Seed Planting Mode" 
   1. Arrow Keys: Move your cursor around the field. 
   2. X: Plant a seed.
2. In watch mode: 
   1. X: Bring rain which will more quickly transform sprouts into dandelion flowers. 
   2. O (UI) / C (Keyboard): will gust wind, which will more quickly spread seeds from the puffballs. 
   3. Arrow keys: Re-enter seed planting mode if you want to add more seeds to your field.

You do not have to call rain or send gusts of wind, each plant has a built in timer that will auto-progress through the plant's lifecycle, the rain and wind will simply move it along faster.

Sadly, I ran out of time for adding seed animations when the puffballs "burst" or are windswept. Perhaps another day.
